We began as Adams and
House Insurance in 1957. For the first 20 years, the
agency concentrated equally on commercial and personal lines
insurance. In 1978 Dick Rottman, former Nevada
Insurance Commissioner, joined the agency and brought forth
an entrepreneurial spirit that would lead Adams and House
Insurance into the future. Starting with a new name, A
and H Insurance, Inc.
During the next 20
years acquisitions were made, partnerships were formed, and
A and H Insurance began to lead the insurance industry
within the great State of Nevada. A and H Insurance
started to expand its commercial lines commitment,
developing an insurance company to provide surety to our
most trusted, local contractors. It was through this
commitment to Nevada that we became politically active,
working with our legislators, helping our community handle
the difficulties of "hard to place" insurance and providing
information to insurance companies to help stabilize the
insurance industry in our state.
By the year 2000, A
and H Insurance was licensed to do business in over 25
states. We had 2 locations; Reno and Las Vegas, but we
had not forgotten our strong commitment to personal lines
insurance. A and H Insurance then purchased a personal
lines agency in the community of Henderson, providing
personal service with a local presence. Today and
tomorrow, A and H Insurance is committed to provide
professional, efficient customer service.
